The most significant similarity between Steve Jobs and Bill Gates is that they are both prominent for becoming two legends who left an indelible footprint in the field of Information Technology. Both individuals have changed the way we work, live, interact, communicate, with the help of their technology contributions to the society. They both had an equal passion to build biggest technology company in the world. It was only passion that inspired them to work almost without any sleep. They both had full control of their companies. They both showed leadership, one canââ¬â¢t achieve such success without leadership. For all matters, they became the face of their companies. Sadly, Steve Jobs was diagnosed with cancer. And despite doctorsââ¬â¢ recommendation that he refrain from any stressors, h e did not adhere to this recommendation because of his obsession and commitment to inventing better technology devices. Ultimately, Steve Jobs lost his battle to cancer and met his untimely demise, leaving the world of technology incredibly saddened. Steve had a very futuristic vision. When Apple built Macintosh, it didnââ¬â¢t meet the expectations of people in an ecstatic manner. It didnââ¬â¢t conquer the pool of profits as anticipated. Steve Jobsââ¬â¢s vision was so innovative that he used to think about things that would be desired by consumers in the next 10 years. He wanted to make a better future and for that purpose, he worked hard in the present. In contrast, Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft aspired to be a computer software giant.
